Electronic Buzz Already for Ultra Music Fest

The Ultra Music Festival already creating a major buzz and no one knows who is performing.
While Oct. 31 might have been Halloween, the real celebration was October 30th for electronic dance music fans.
The day marked the release of the Early Bird Combo tickets for Ultra Music Festival, one of the world’s biggest electronic music events, held in Miami.
Early Bird tickets sold out within days; an amazing stat considering the festival has yet to confirm any act in their 2010 lineup. Who cares, as long as you can dance, right?
Whoever performs, it’s sure to be a good time. In previous years, featured artists who performed at the event have included the Prodigy, Moby, Armin Van Buuren, Benny Benassi, Deadmau5, Paul Oakenfold, and Tiesto.
Last year, Fergie and the Black Eyed Peas rocked the stage at Bicentennial Park. More than 85,000 people attended the 2-day festival, according to the festival’s website. Many of the attendees are locals but some travel from around the world and as far away as Sydney, Australia.
This year’s line up will be announced “later this winter,” the festival’s PR firm has said.
The festival is part of the annual Winter Music Conference, a 5-day event, which attracts many of the top DJs and electronic dance music enthusiasts in the world for a series of seminars, exhibits, networking events, and parties.

Ultra Music Festival takes place on March 26th and March 27th 2010 at Bicentennial Park.
Two-day general admission tickets can be purchased for $139.95, not including tax or service charges, while VIP tickets go for $350.00.

Iv’e been waiting for ULTRA since about March 28th at about 12:01 this year!! I’ll be at Bicentennial Park every year as long as there is an ULTRA to go to!!!! AAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I CANT WAIT FOR THE LINEUP ALREADY.. I REALLY DO HOPE THEY PUT ARMIN VAN BUUREN AGAIN.. HE DID AN AMAZING JOB.. DAVID GUETTA.. LITERALLY RIPPED THE MAIN STAGE. WE ALL CAN BE ALMOST 100% SURE TIESTO AND PVD IS GOING TO BE THERE.. THAT’S JUST ULTRA’S REGULAR DJS. CARL COX.. I REALLY DO HOPE THEY PUT THE SWEDISH MAFIA HOUSE.. CANT WAIT MARCH 2010! I’m so excited about ULTRA. I hope I will see again my favorites DJs: ATB, Tiesto, Armin, Paul van Dyk and all others. Maybe one day, Claudia Cazacu will be on the stage there. She is the best woman DJ and I am proud she is romanian

im really hoping that deadmau5 will come back this year, but i do agree with everyone the day needs to come sooner! i think everyone who is an electronic, techno, deep house fanatic should attend its worth the money and all the dj’s put on a hell of a show.

I’m fortunate enough to live in South Florida but for all of you who don’t, let me just tell you that I am spoiled and get to see AVB, TIESTO, FERRY CORSTEN, PVD, ROGER SANCHEZ, CARL COX, PAUL OAKENFOLD, and so many more all year long. But nothing in the world can compare to the AMAZING week of WMC. Nothing. And to go out with a BANG…….it ends with the best experience you will ever have…..ULTRA!!!! If you get to go, take a second and truly appreciate what you are experiencing! There’s nothing else like it. Ask a friend what their favorite thing is then ask them what is the best thing they could ever do involving that. I bet it won’t come close to what ULTRA is for us!!! So roll on down here and have the time of your life!!! It just keeps getting better for me every year. What a gift!!!! See ya there!!!!

Basement Jaxx, Justice (dj set), Simian Mobile Disco, La roux, Tiesto, Chromeo, Carl Cox, Deadmau5, Bloody Beetroots, Calvin Harris, Crookers,Fake Blood, Luciano, Yuksek, PVD, AVB,Planet of the drums, Pendulum, Shy fx, Skream, Benga, Icey, Jackyl and Hyde… i hope they get some aussie acts like “Empire of the Sun”, Pnua, Ladyhawke, Grafton primary, or VAN SHE TECH!!!!

disessa, love the mieup prediction, though im hoping for aswell, bloc party, chicane, laidback luke, flanders, caspa, rye rye, MIA, major lazer, foamo, drop the lime, ferry costen, judge jules and fukk off and annie mac.
in terms of aussie acts, id love to see the presets outside of aus, van she, miami horror, pnau and cut copy…………………i think empire of the sun are the most overrated band this year, and they suck live in my open.

My favorite stage is the Breaks stage because that’s where the best vibes are. Everyone dances and most are not just standing there. At least that’s what i found when i went this year.
Above and Beyond need to headline or at LEAST play during the night time. They really should be #1 but it really doesn’t matter

March 27th is my b-day, Last years ultra was my 21st and i can tell you now, it was the best b-day I have EVER had, well.. Until my 22nd b-day when i go to Ultra yet again! If you havent gone, Let me tell you your missing one of the best events ever, The Music, the people, the fun. Its amazing!

I have been there every year since 96 before bicentinnial park when it was held at bayfront instead it cant be missed truly a breathtaking experience a must see!!!!! most memorable set last year was MSTRKRFT good times!! Bring em back !! plus we need some more DEEP DISH and GABRIEL and DRESDEN.

Well for one, DEEP DISH and GABRIEL and DRESDEN dont even play together much anymore if at all but DUBFIRE would be a nice addition. Can’t wait to see what techno they bring in to play with Carl Cox in the tent. Thats always the best stage.
